This gives me a chance to go thru stuff and toss out what I no longer need - by means of donate to goodwill etc.

kittenquilts: Love the avatar. I adore fall colors, & fall in general!

DebsShelties: I know what you mean about piles of fabric. We had company for a big life event this weekend & much of my bolt pile in a bedroom had to go elsewhere. I bought (with coupon of course-half price w sale) a 4-pack of bankers boxes that would hold my bolts for a few months, while I reorganize. These are the folding type called Bankers Boxes from office supply stores. Note that "Bankers Boxes" come in many sizes. It was quick & easy for as long as I need them.

Note: This Box is 24" Long x 15" wide x 10" high

I almost have my living room back, seems hauling stuff back into one area is faster than loading it and hauling it out. Then comes the going thru stuff to determine what stays and what goes.

Are they acid free cardboard? I use the bags I got from various stores like the large green ones from Joanns or totes to load and hold for short periods.

I did the same thing. I moved three fourths to another room and have moved one half back to the first room. Now I keep going back and forth trying to figure out which room something is in. I made a real mess organizing myself.

Like you, I was so surprised at what and how much I had in one room. Somehow it KEEPS GROWING.

Looks like a summer project.

Do we get to see pictures of your "old/new" room? I'll be re-doing/organizing my sewling loft in the next few weeks so I'm looking for ideas.
