It doesn't matter the status, religion, inteligence, income, family upbringing, cultural background, etc., when it comes to substance abuse and drugs, the behaviors are the same for someone who is addicted, no matter where they are on the social ladder. This is a tragic reality. No excuses - it just is, and until you have a family member caught in this situation, you have no clue about the downward spiral it causes. Do you think that any sane person would like to loose their respect, job, income, family, children, and life otherwise. Drugs make people stupid in ways you can never imagine. Too bad this is being played out in the public eye - or maybe it's a good thing.
