I think your DGD & my DS are the same person. I lost count of how many "fuzzy" blankets he went thru. They all had namers & now, even tho he's grown & married, he still has "Chuckie", a plaid fuzzy blanket.

I had one of those cloth dolls who looked like they were asleep on their side. I drooled on her so much that the fabric finally just rotted out. I was killed!
