Christmas Cactus showing off.......

I have one that the main starter came from a 125 yr old plant. I am not at home right now. But when I get back from spending time with my uncle, I do believe she should be in bloom too. Your plant is beautiful.

Lovely! I have two loaded with blossoms but not in full bloom yet. I put mine out on a covered porch for the summer. I left them out till a couple weeks ago and they set their blossoms with no effort on my part. The dark nights set them to bloom. They are day-length sensitive. Shorter daylight hours cause them to react.

Wonderful people have the right knack to have them flourish so well.
Thank you for the pretty photo, looks like another plant is waiting to bud, on the side of the photo.

Before I took to quilting I had over 300 plants, a 3mtr. square green house and very green fingers. I had to sell or give them away as we moved to the other side of the country. I had several of these in hanging baskets and loved how they looked when in flower. They cascaded over the sides and hung 3-4 feet. They flowered at different times of the year. Some were Christmas cactus and other were called Easter cactus. Yours is a truly magnificent specimen.
