I have learned to keep them on, because they help keep the garment on the hanger.

I keep them - and use them to help hang up clothes. They are invaluable to me :)

I leave them on most of the time. In some cases I wrap them around my bra straps to keep garment shoulders from slipping and straps from peaking.
