I am going for my colonoscopy today...Say a prayer for me...I feel awful this morning...starving and got the shakes.. Drink all that stuff and stayed in batroom all afternoon and night...Could eat or drink anything after 12 last night...I have been hurting in my right side off and on for a long time..2 years praying it is nothing...thanks

Been there, done that! 3 times!!! Turned out great everytime!! I worried my @ss to death for no reason! Just stay calm.....I have the same pain and its trapped gas!! It really is! Good luck!

I can so relate to that awful prep! Same for me. Procedure was easy and hoping your results are the same as mine - normal!!

Good Luck....I had the same pain, the colonoscopy and endoscopy...............It turned out to be stress related. Try not to worry.

Thanks to everyone here for the well wishes & explanations. My doctor wants me to have one this next year (due to my mother having colon cancer).
I kinda know the procedure, but I was worried that folks would start telling horror stories....
PS - I will send you some good mojo also for a quick exam & recovery afterwards.

Good health to you! Stress can cause all kinds of angst and your body acts out on it! I have been there, and rest and refocussing my energy helped. I volunteer and that gets me off myself!
I also found EFT, emofree.com and use that when I get caught up in the downward spiral. I tap on it, and it worked for me. Doesn't cost anything, is non invasive and cannot be done incorrectly! Don't know how it works, but it does. Don't know how electricity works, either, but I still flip that switch!

My t's and p's are with you. I've had two of those done. they put you to sleep for some reason now. didn't before. hopefully all will be well and you'll begin to feel better soon. ((()))
