That kitty saw you coming a mile a way. :lol: Once you were adopted, it had your name, address and phone number memorized just in case it got lost. Smart kitty.

I know you will figure out the best thing to do. There are many wonderful vets out there who do good work.

We (DH, DS, and I) had sort of a contest going to see who would be able to pet it first. I "won" - but DS said I cheated by grabbing it (well - it got brave enough to push my hand out of the way of the food bowl to eat the chow!) to pet it.

This took about six months!

My vet charged $65 and 5 extra for the pain shot. When we adopted another kitten we had to go to a low cost neuter clinic in our area. We took her in the early morning and she had her surgery and her rabies shot all for 30.oo.

That's horrible! I think few animals would receive the needed altering. Try your local animal shelter or SPCA. The point is not to make the vet rich, it's to protect our anmals. Highway robbery!! :(
