Hello everyone! I was just invited to do a craft show/fair next Saturday and was wondering what items you think might sell best at a small show. There are only going to be 13-15 vendors there and I'll be about the only one doing any type of sewing items. I know I don't have enough time to do any quilts and frankly I don't think they'd sell in my area real well, but what about small items. What would you, if you didn't sew or have time to sew, buy at a craft show???

I need help, fast!!!!! I only have a week to make some items. At least the table fee is only $10 and it's INSIDE with air conditioning - WOO HOO!!!!! It'd be miserable in our mid 90's weather we're suffering through right now!

Thanks!!!

I have found that it is a mixed bag at craft shows. I would try things for children, baby quilts, aprons, bibs...potholders for the older crowd, mug rugs...not really sure what else this time of year...hope this helps some ;)

Tote bags, pot holders, tater bags, mug rugs, aprons, maybe some mini wall hangings. Just a few thoughts although you really don't have much time. Maybe for bags you could make a couple for display and take orders for others, with a deposit of course. Set up an album with pics for other wall hangings for order, maybe a few quilts for order.

make sure you have a table covering...solid color helps your product stand out....and if possible...have it go down to the floor. This way you can store your empty boxes under the table and it looks neat and tidy.
What the others have suggested are good ideas...

Bring plenty of change and don't forget your smile....
