Very uninspired writing. Perhaps the writers had other jobs since the show was ending and didn't give this their all.
When Grissom and Sarah sailed off into the sunset I burst out laughing. Really???? Sailing off into the sunset!

Yes, disappointed here too. And this used to be my all-time favorite TV show. The finale started out good but became predictable all too soon, from the identity of the villain to the final "sunset" scene. Capturing the bad guy seemed contrived and too quick & easy, like the writers didn't know how to end it so just made it quick. I was glad to see Grissom come back, but really missed Nick Stokes!

I agree that the show was disappointing. After all, Grissom never talked about his feelings much, but at least he did talk - except in this show! Couldn't the writers think of ANYTHING he could say to ANYONE during the show? They should have just stopped, like they did with CSI NY.

Mixed feelings about the ending..........Ted is going to CSI Cyber...that will be good.....never liked Catherine....maybe Sara and Grissom will be a spin off....like a new gilligans island......it missed the mark! but it made good $$$ for those involved, so now it will be interesting to see where they will appearing in the future...
