I had a broken water line and our den got flooded and replaced...now I have changed the theme from "garden" to "beach". This sofa had nice flowered back pillows that just don't go in my tropical plans.

Which of these 2 fabrics do you like better? OR Neither?
    Thanks for your help.

Second one. But it doesn't really look all that 'beachy'?? Maybe my eyes are tired today.

I prefer the second pic. It's more calming.

Color wise I would go with the second one if you are looking for a beach feel. The thing is that the print is not beachy. I would go with a different print in similar colors. Unless you are looking for a Hawaiian look, which changes everything. Where is the beach you are trying to represent? Maine or Maui?
