Love the deer. I only see the odd kangaroo or goanna. Not as elegant.

I love the deer, too, but wouldn't mind it if they didn't love
    everything I try to grow.

They will eat everything and anything.......

Large type of lizard. They can stand up on their hind legs and run really fast. A 5' long one ran down next door's driveway - we were all running the other way :!:

My sympathies go with anyone having lizard issues. They can be meaner than people think!

Oh, my goodness! I have heard that lizards grow until they die ... I like a lot of things about your country, but this is not one of them I would look forward to observing .

Reminds me of my yard yesterday morning...two deer had wandered out of the cornfield and were by the silo and barn. I wouldn't have known they were there had not my DH called me and told me to look outside (he was in the yard at the time). Of course, my camera was in the room I had just left, and the deer were gone by the time I'd grabbed the camera!

It is said here that when you see a deer run across the road...'where there's one there is always two'!:)And when you see several of the girls out and about...the big buck is usually following not far behind...:)Skeat

Love to see these in our yard, too. Have a herd of about 30, usually. Had a buck in back this morning.
