    Hello everyone!

Today was Hans' birthday and as the kids were off school, we went to Monkey Valley for the day. What's lovely is the monkeys are free roaming (well, the big guys, gorillas, chimps etc are on islands! )

The smaller monkeys are in open woodland and you walk along trails where they are in the trees all around you. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we had a great time! Hope you enjoy the pics! :D

There was a strange type of monkey there that I'd never seen before, the Latin name was Singeus Sockus!

Loretta - this is the Vallée des Singes which is near Poitiers in the west of France.

Skeat recently 'introduced' me to sock monkeys and I made one yesterday, so of course, he had to come with us to visit his relatives! Here's a couple more pics! :D
