ditto.
Yep, somewhat disappointing in our area too. We had a much more spectacular moon just recently.

Both, bigger and brighter. It was larger as it was rising above the horizon... then began to look more normal the 'higher' it went up in the sky.

I was a little disappointed too. Too me, it looked like a regular full moon. I think it must have something to do with our location. Anyway, I was ready with my camera. Photography is my other hobby. :)

Friday night it was so huge looking. Sat and Sun, clouds covered it up. I figure by 2029, I'd probably be looking down at it, but then pencil in hand I figure I'll only be 91. Hey, that's something to look forward too, eh? Edie

I saw it about 8ish and it looked normal. Maybe a little brighter. But when I got up around 2 it was a bit bigger and really bright.

I saw it out my kitchen window. Thought it was neat looking. Didn't realize it was something that we wouldn't see for awhile.

I stepped out to look at the moon...it was high up by then, so bright that it hurt my eyes, and even had two elliptical halos...must have been my bionic eyes giving me an extra treat. I had cataracts removed when I was 60 years old....early in life. I could tell as the other patients were in their 80's. Mine matured early as I had so much prednisone to help me thru several asthma/allergy/lung problems in my 50's. But that is my best guess for the elliptical halos.
