Please be careful and do not leave thread where a cat can get to it. It can get wrapped around their intestines and stomach. We almost lost one of our cats because of this. Cost us over 7,000.00 (yes, that is right, thousands) for the tests, surgery, hospital stay, not to ention the pain our baby had to go through.

There are two of my seven cats that seem to like my quilting room when I am in there. I have a cat condo in there that my Sweetie likes to lay on, but my other cat, wants to be on the table where my sewing machine is. My talbe is 7 feet long and I've managed to section a part off just for her to lay on, so that she doesn't really interfere with my work. As soon as I get up and walk out of the room, the two cats follow. they will not stay in thre by themselves, only when I am in tere.

I've had cats almost all my life-4 of them, usually one at a time. Currently we have 2-one upstairs and one downstairs (they hiss when they meet) but only one really believes all the quilts are hers!
