We have certain areas we don't allow them to stay in overnight, otherwise we wouldn't have anything left unbroken, dragged around, or batted around! We love em tho!!!
You may want to check your local humane society, most of them have a program to help pay to spay or nueter your pet. Our local one does it several times a year.

The statistics say that for just one cat that's allowed to breed for 3 years can result in over 1700 offspring! And you just know that a LOT of those are going to end up in shelters. Here's the statistics:

Please don't take this as me being mean or anything, only trying to help. I volunteer at my local shelter sometimes, and I've seen so many precious animals suffer so bad, that could have been prevented if just one animal had been fixed.

I see that you have a rescue yourself, so you probably know what I'm talking about. I think it's great you got a rescue, I wish more people would. They are just as good as any you get anywhere else, heck, sometimes better, LOL!

what a beautiful cat! My avatar is my current cat. She has made it very clear that she wants to be an only cat! She is indoors only because of traffic, mean kids and adults, and animals that eat cats. If I am sewing at the kitchen table, she sleeps on one of the chairs. Any time a quilt is on the floor for making the sandwich or positioning blocks, she is right there to make sure it is done right! I have to be careful of threads though. Her long fur makes a great mop! She is the smallest cat I have ever had, although she has managed to pudge up this summer. I have to watch that.

A quail?!!? Have you ever read the book, That Quail, Robert? I think it's out of print now, but you can get used copies. I thought it was a great book....you would probably find it fantastic!
I read that book! Excellent story!
