with my fabric addiction? I thought I had all my stash organized perfectly where I knew where everything was...nope!!!! I gave up and just started stacking fabric in my laundry basket (emptying the dirty laundry on the floor!) AND, I've only been on this Board for less than a year!!!!!

My sister and nieces (18 and 21 years) came over this week. We were working on decorating my youngest niece's linens for her apt (she'll be a Freshman in college in Sept). She brought me a simple solid throw pillow in a pretty aqua and wanted it do an applique on it. They were going to Hancock's and I said "WAIT" I went into my sewing room and starting looking thru containers. They followed me. After I opened about 4 boxes I pulled out 5 pieces that looked great with the pillow!! My sister looked around and said "WHERE DID YOU GET ALL THIS FABRIC?" Well, I kinda just said"oh, I'd been collecting here and there.....(hehe) and I am going to make some quilts". Luckily, I didn't get a lecture...she said "oh, I want to come quilt with you"...

So since she's a nurse, can I do my rehab as an outpatient?????

Oh, I thought I was in rehab when I was playing with my fabric, cutting it into squares and placeing it in little stacks.

Since we are a bunch of enablers, probably the best advice you could get to "kick the habit" would be a restriction on reading this board! ;)

Just don't look in my sewing room!

That's so funny! Just think of all the wonderful fabric stores you will have to visit with your sister so you can show her how you lost your way.

I think you may have gotten your sister drugged also. It works fast.
