Yes, they can climb!
I went outside on the porch one night just at dusk. Didn't turn the light on down at that end. When I got down there I could see there was something sitting up on the little ledge at the top of the bricks there.
It was a snake!! I almost peed my pants!
He was a big chicken/rat snake so not poisonous but it still scared me.

We don't have to worry too much with snakes we have a family of red tail hawks around here so the only ones we minght find are black racers and they will leave the area .

Lived in FL for 10 years, and I can tell you Snake-A-Way works!! I don't mind snakes, I'd just rather not have poisonous ones near the house, and that did the trick!!

Yes they can climb brick walls. There is a lot there for them to hang onto.

I seen one climb up our glass patio door! That wasn't enough, half way up then he squeezed thru the rubber between the doors, the doors was closed. That didn't stop the snake, worked his way right thru and was in my enclosed sunroom. Needless to say, he had the room to himself, til I got a neighbor to get him out!

Yes, they crawl up walls. Many years ago I found one under my kitchen sink. This afternoon we killed a water moccasin just off the patio. I liked to have had a heart attack cause I have been out there doing alot of staining.

Yick! You watched this happen? That would've given me the heebie-jeebies. And I sure would've left the room, too.

OMG I watch a show on the snake house. haven't you heard about the snake house? The snakes were hanging off the gutters and roof. Someone bought a house that was in forclosurer the previous owners said it was snake infested, the bank didn't believe them. The new people also thought the previous owner made up the story.........boy were they mistaked. There were pictures of snakes ALL over the house. Here is a link
