On our news last night from Indiana. A lady posted that she and hubby going out to eat and shopping. When they returned home their home had been broken into and lots of things stolen. The police is investigating and said they have had lots of break ins that people are a member of facebook. Be careful what you post.

That lady is now deleting people on facebook that she does not know.

I don't have people as my 'friends' that I don't know. Except for one. We connected because we have the same last name. No relation as far as we know. But he lives in another state. I screen my people and don't post that I am leaving the house.

I've had some people add me as their friend that I barely know. I ignore them. Plus I don't write every little thing on my wall. If I were to talk about going somewhere it would be after I came home. I'm a pretty trusting person but not that much. However, I just joined Facebook so thanks for the warning.

I just joined and thought I was the only one that found it boring or thought that I might be doing something wrong. Are you cleaning your house today, fixing fish for supper? I just really don't care and don't want to waste my time reading about it. It seems that's the kind of junk people put on there. (I wasn't talking about YOU personally just people in general)

I just have a few relatives on there and I get sick of their comments also. I have better things to do, like quilt, lol.

I agree. I think that Facebook is a complete waste of time. I'd much rather pick up the phone.

The reason I joined facebook originally was my relatives post pictures of their grandchildren there & I don't get to watch them growing up otherwise......but  I keep forgetting to check up on them. Our work just decided to open a facebook & twitter page.....so another invitation....but I just don't click on them.

Yup. I only have FB for people I know. And, don't post "leaving my house to be gone a long, long time, with the doors unlocked..."
