    My grandma used to tat by the hours. She tried so hard to teach me but I guess I just didn't care to learn. So sorry now that I didn't.

    Am so happy to hear you tat. It was almost a lost art. Brings back fond memories of my grandmother. Can we see some pictures when you have something completed (or sooner, if you wish)?

    I like to crochet and just experiment doing all kinds of things.But now, I mostly like to sew.

    Let's just say I have one room dedicated for crafts, and another for sewing, and I still don't have room for all my stuff! :shock:

    stained glass (none recently, but some pics are attached below)
    beading / jewelry
    painting (not very good at it, though)
    altered art
    ACEO cards
    scrapbooking & greeting cards
    diorama-making
    polymer clay
    photography (and turning the photos into art or jewelry)
    macrame
    doll making
    making digital mandalas for prints/posters and other artwork
    small crafts like ornaments, potholders, purses, etc.
    learning to crochet
    lapidary arts (sold my saw/grinder combo awhile back, though)
    candle making (in the past - got bored with it)
    soap making (melt-and-pour only)
    mosaics made of glass, stones, gems, etc.
    enamel bead making (not very good at it, though)
    baking/cooking
    gardening

    dolphins & lighthouse - a gift for my dad. The dolphins and water are iridescent, but it doesn't show up well in the photo.

    Thanks. My son is an engineer for the railroad and this was a retirement mancave gift for one of his friends who had been a marine and worked for the railroad.

    I have made counted crosstitch Christmas stockings for almost all the members of my family. I'm working on the last one now- that is if I don't have anymore grandchildren! I am also knitting a blanket for Newborns in need. I have a crochet tablecloth that I made for my mother in law. When she passed away in 1993 her daughter gave it back to me. My first daughter in law used it to cover the guestbook table at her wedding.
