House of Sand and Fog really wasn't to my taste. I found it tedious and irritating and have liked the performances of both actors in other movies.
I have a few 'must sees' such as "The Shawshank Redemption", "The Sting", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter", "The Deerhunter", "The Lord of the Rings"...I'd best stop now.

We do not go out to the movies very often...one or twice in five years or more...but I would love to see One for the Money; and she has 17 other titles of her books to make into laughter filled movies!! I so hope they produce the movies half as good as her books. Janet Evanovich books are on my permanent book shelf...to re-read & re-read. She employs her whole family now into her production of her books. Although she has other titles out, I love her Stephanie Plum novels the best.

Also love to see Chipwrecked! Alvin & the chipmunks...just for laughs.

There is another movie that was on tv - a remake of the Joan Crawford movie made in 1943??? "Mildred Pearce"..Of course I didn't see the original, but did enjoy this new one on tv a few days ago. The only complaint I have on it was the nudity and the re-creation of several sexual acts.......the "fade out" would have worked just as well. Other than that, it definitely had the flavor of an old movie that was quite enjoyable.------did anyone watch it?

Seven Pounds starring Will Smith
And a movie called I will always Love you. A rather dark movie about a relationship between two sisters, one of whom was released from prison.

The Help was great and so was Harry Potter. We want to see Sherlock Holmes, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and MI: Ghost Protocol. I have read all the Dragon Tattoo books and it's a great series, a bit intense, but very good.

We would like to see the King's Speech eventually.

Well we found some classics that we are enjoying even more with the kids.
The Music Man with Robert Preston and Scrooge with Albert Finney is among them- so much fun to hear the kids doing scenes from them and trying to remember all the words from songs in Music man which is very fast paced singing.

I read this book several years ago - it was a terrific story and a really good read.
