Do you have a steam mop...do you like it or not?

I had bought a shark and I loved it. only problem was it only lasted 6 months and then quit. I took it back to the store and they gave me another one but it only lasted 4 months and then quit. I took it back but they say they only replace it once. I then tried another model from London Drugs. It was much heavier and it was too hard for me to use. I returned it the next day and I went and bought another shark. I bought extended warrenty with this one so hopefully it will last. I found out that we have a high sodium content in our water and that could have been the problem so now I use filtered water or distilled water. but I absolutely love the shark!!!

I have one and love it! It cleans without chemicals, which is why I bought it...I am sensitive to some chemicals and try to avoid them as much as possible. Plus, we have the dog...who will lick the kitchen floor if she even thinks that it had food near it.

I've got a Bissell Steam Mop, so it's for floors. I do not see any way it could be used on the tub/shower, except the floor. Man, I just wrote someone about starting to cut out fabs today for a quilt...and you just had to go and mention the housework subject. BOO... OK, maybe if I do the floors first, it'll give me an excuse to play afterwards...a treat to look forward to and anticipate. ; - D

Well I found it needed more umph. I went over floor once with steam followed by spraying "409" on the floor and then the steamer again. (old Vacation condo galley kitchen). It had been bad , I am ashamed to say. Who wants to clean on weekends at the lake ? Got a dirty mop pad ,especialy in the corners.
