    Talking Do you know what this flowers name is?

    Was to a family gathering Friday this flower was part of a center peice. Does anyone know the name of it? Someone said it is a pretty weed? Oh, I know the red one is a ROSE. thanks in advance for any help!

    I would say a thistle flower too, but have no idea the name of it.

    My first thought was something from the thistle or artichoke family. It is very neat looking!

    That looks like a thistle that grows wild here ours are purple and a pest. very painful if you are poked by them, but I must say they are pretty

    The center may turn brown when the flower gets older. I found it by googling "green flowers" and then looking at images. There are some pretty neat green flowers out there!
