My favorite old movie is "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn". " Peggy's Apartment" is another one that was good. A Christmas favorite is "Little Women".

The channel we watched them on called it "Creature Features" and they came on Friday nights. I'd watch movies all night long and then watch the early morning cartoons before going to bed. My sister never could stay awake that long. A lot of the movies gave her nightmares anyway so it wasn't such a bad thing she couldn't stay awake.

My Mom went to the same high school as Butterfly McQueen. They sometimes ate lunch together. After Mom died, I found an autographed picture of Ms. McQueen. (wonder what it's worth...$$$) :-)

Red Skelton - Clem Kaddidlehopper - The seagulls I can't remember their names. And he did a clown. He also did a movie where he went to a girl's school as the only male. Can't remember the name of it.

My mother's middle name was Gertrude. My Sis and I would start laughing even before he started the joke.

My all time favorites are Jimmy Cagney and John Wayne.
Just watched, 'Angels With Dirty Faces'. Had the Bowery Boys, Bogart and Pat O'Brien as the Priest.
We recently watched 'Angel & The Badman', a classic John Wayne movie with Gail Russell.
