"old" black and white movies are the only good movies! well almost anyway. I love The Thin Man movies too.
Sylvia Sidney was on the other night. my hubby is 20 yrs older than I am and didn't know who she was. sigh!

Did you ever see the move How to Fill a Wild Bikini? It was one of the Annette/Frankie movies.

This one is the first one I believe that Von Zipper and his gang are in. He is hilarious. And I always love the songs and there is usually a band that plays. It's like a time warp to watch them! You get a 60's overload!

I love, love, love old movies. Any, and every one of them. My grandmother got me hooked on them when I was little. I am now 45, and trying to get my kids to watch them with me. They all kind of like them. There problems, is that there is no color. But to me, that is what makes the movie. More dramatic.

I think the black and white helps to get you into the era of the 30s and 40s. If there is color it doesn't feel the same.

You are certainly right there. I have seen some older pictures that have been "colorized", and the first thought in my head is WHY???

I love James Bond movies so I have always loved the Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin and the Flint movies with James Coburn. They poke such fun at the Bond movies.
