One of my happiest childhood memories is sitting outside and shelling peas with my grampa - I still get that happy feeling when I'm shelling. Purple hull is definitely my favorite from the garden!!

We've planted purple hull peas for years. Last year we, DH, planted Green Zipper peas. OMG (oh my gosh) I could eat them every day. I like to eat them with fresh salsa. I think that's all we are planting from now on. Every time I take them as a dish every one raves over them.
