    I really miss a good nites sleep. I remember when I was younger the old-timers were always talking about insomnia. I think I've arrived! If I can get 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep, it's a miracle. I haven't had 8 hours of sleep in the last 15 years, unless I'm ill. :?

    I have a hard time getting to sleep, and then staying asleep. I have to take meds to help me. Definitely helps with my pain levels!

    I sleep about 5-6 hours a night but have always been a napper. Menopause didn't seem to change that. Used to fall asleep in Algebra class right after lunch. Unfortunately the teacher lived across the street from us. Not pretty.

    My wonderful German Shepard did the same thing. I complained about it because I felt that was the reason I couldn't sleep good. He died very unexpectedly on Oct. 2nd (massive heart attack) and I miss him so much. I would gladly give up the space to have him back. Enjoy him while you can.

    I am peri-menopausal and it just depends there are some days I sleep well and other days that I just can't sleep for nothing. No matter what between 5-630am I am awake and need to get up and get going. Naps??? What are those I feel guilty if I take a nap.

    Usually sleep all night. After working third shift for years I now will take a nap once in a while during the day.

    I don't sleep real well at night. If I wake up during the night, many times I will just go ahead and get up and do something. It beats just laying there and watching the clock. As far as napping goes, I don't intentionally take a nap during the day (because if I do, I can't fall asleep at night) but sometimes I do doze off after I get home from a day at school.
