We quote plenty of commercials - a lot that people have said already. Another is "Wha's up" from a beer commercial that was popular a few years ago (Budweiser?)

More often, we quote TV shows: "Is that your final answer". And we often hum the Jeopardy music if we're waiting for someone to answer a question.

It seems like we're still quoting Seinfeld. "Not that that's a bad thing."

We quote movies and songs too. Maybe we don't have any original ideas!

I don't think a lot of them last longer than the life of the commercial. There was a funny commercial here which gave a particular phrase about a third child in the family, and lots of people were nick - naming their third child with this phrase and an equally funny one about Banks is racing around our area at the moment with phrases such as:"That will be Option One" (i.e. the ONLY option) and "Never, mind, you'll have 25 years to get used to it!"(Regarding bad financial investment) and "You want MORE...of THEM?"(regarding having more kids)....but they will be replaced once the promotion changes, I am sure.

"And we're walking..." from the Progressive commercial.

"That'll do, Pig, that'll do" from "Babe"

"I love it when a plan comes together" from "A Team"

Those are just what I can remember right now...though we do quote a lot of movies that our family has loved over the years...esp. "Uncle Buck" and "While You Were Sleeping"...("these mashed potatoes are so creamy") LOL
