I can't stand it and don't cook with it, though I'll eat food with a little black pepper if I love it otherwise. I use little salt (a habit started when I was pregnant 31 years ago!) as well. Too much salt is just awful to me. I don't like any kind of peppers either....

I probably use way too much black and white pepper, but I never use salt. I can't stand the taste of it. It runs in my family, dad was the same way.

I love pepper! Course grind is great, but fresh milled is the best!! Put it on lots of things. Like spicy food in general~
Don't care for green peppers tho. Just the smell of them turns my tummy. (can thank my dad for that when I was a kid!)
    Same with onions.

I agree. Why can't restaurants let patrons add their own seasoning? Whenever I go out I have to order my food without seasoning or I just can't enjoy it.

I cannot imagine cooking without the basic seasonings. I use sea salt and buy really good peppercorns to grind. Not in excess but to enhance whatever food I am preparing. I also, love really good chili peppers, not the kind that blister your taste buds, but those that have good flavor and hang on just a bit. I'm not into self destruction, but enjoy flavors on the edge. Most of my friends have tender palates and I try to accommodate them when I cook for the crowd. Of course I'm from Texas and this type of cooking was normal for me.

I like pepper but not salt. When I was a teenager (many years ago) my mother had open heart surgery and one of the things she could not use was salt for a whole year and that meant not cooking with it or using it at the table. I got use to eating that way and to this day use very little salt.

I don't like much pepper either and I don't like the hot peppers either.
