So I just happened to look out the window a few minutes ago and everything was cast in a pink glow. I grabbed my camera and went outside to see the sky all pink and blue. First thing I thought was, "How can I translate that sky into a quilt?" The pics don't do it justice.

We had the same sky last night. It was really pretty. Maybe you could do a watercolor version of the sky part. Or do an applique style. I don't know for sure but the ideas are endless. :-)

I've often thought that when I see a breathtaking sunset. Maybe a Bargello with very gradual color changes and done in batiks. Pretty pics.

I would look for fabric like it. I've actually seen some (can't tell you where though  ), too many sites! :-D Then applique trees and such on top.

Yah, batiks! My problem is that my mind can conjure up all sorts of great ideas, then the hands just can't do what the brain wants it to.
