It's beautiful. Would make a fabulous orphanage or group home just in case they can't sell it. I agree, it could benefit from some quilts!! Wonder which room is Robin's sewing room!

I am just a plain Jane, but if they have the money let them enjoy it and they seems to be happy too. There are so many bad things in this world and I enjoyed to look at it. I am sure he does a lot for the poor as well.

That certainly isn't the house for me even though I love the back yard, the front isn't that pretty. He wasn't raised in a house like that. It looks like a house or showcase, not a "home".

I agree with gaudy. Much too ornate!! Would be a dust nightmare if you didn't have someone else cleaning!!!

i agree--it looks much more like a showcase--a monument to where he has gone in life. makes me wonder if there isn't a little cozy place somewhere, tucked away, where they go to really "live". this place (and the newer, bigger one) look more like when we were kids and we put on our "good clothes" to look better for company. it made a nice impression, but everybody knew that we really lived in our play clothes...

I say we all chip in a couple bucks, buy it and turn it into our own quilt retreat house; ala the Elm Creek quilters!
