Driving Into a Rainbow
Today I saw something I had never seen before. I was headed to the farm where I keep my horse out in the country.
It was raining and the sky was very dark, but there was a break in the clouds and a very bright rainbow appeared that I could see ahead of me. As I got closer, it seemed that the actual end of the rainbow was on the road where I was driving. I could distinctly see all three colours arcing down onto the road ahead of me. I know it was a mirage but it seemed like I got within 10' of this "end of the rainbow" in the middle of the road before it blinked out. It was the strangest thing.
Sadly, there was no pot of gold...but it did make my day.
