How about dingbat husband. I came down stairs ready for church & my dh was sitting on the couch reading his anniversary cards. Our ann was the 26th of oct. I got him a fleece blankie with the superman sign on it & laid it on the coffee table. with 2 cards on top & a bag of candy on top of the whole thing. I thought that when the candy was found he had read & looked at the rest. noooo. We went that weekend & I bought fabric & he said happy anniversary & that was it. I thought that I ask him if he liked the blankie & I thought he said yes. oh well. Thanks CAthy A

I never realized "d" had so many connotations.

In our house it's normally referred to as Dear Husband or some say designated husband. Dumb Husband comes up when he moves stuff I was working on and then I can't find anything lol

Depends how I'm feeling towards him at the time. If he's been a doll it's Darling Husband, if he's in my bad book it's d..k head.

LOL! You gave me my chuckle for the day! Don't be embarrassed, it was fun to read!! I think we use both meanings interchangeably at times! Blessings!
