    Needs a good washing? If they used textile fabrics, a lot of them cannot be washed in the machine, they have to be dry cleaned, and once the fibers start to pull apart - watch out!! I think I would donate it to a homeless shelter in a really cold place.

    I agree with you on this, it appears to be serged throughout the patches, or maybe a tight zigzag, but I see it as serged edges.
