It is 1:30 in the a.m. and I am awake after only 3 hours of sleep. I am having a cup of decaf tea. What do you do when you can't sleep?

Sometimes I play on the computer, sometimes I read, or watch tv.
For the last year I've had classical music playing when I go
to bed, and that has been helping me some.
And, of course, here!

I start to visualize and believe that I am rich! I fall asleep because that will only happen in my dreams :)

Get out of bed, come here, and sew.

If you want a natural remedy, try Melatonin, 5mgs. It's what the body manufactures to make you go to sleep, but sometimes it falls down on the job. Should be available from health food stores.
Strangely, it isn't available here in Ireland - they only let you get it on prescription, but I get mine online through ebay from the UK.

I also read, turn on the TV, or come here.

I woke up at 4:30a.m. & could not go back to sleep. I think my body clock is ahead of time for the Daylight Savings Time clock change.

Wish I had seen this earlier....I have been up since 4:15 est. My son went skiing and got up to make him breakfast and sandwiches for lunch and couldn't go back to sleep. Having 10 people over for dinner tonight. I'm going to be exhausted. Better take a nap this afternoon.
