I can't imagine why the snakes would be attracted to that house unless there is an infestation of something there that they eat - perhaps mice? That would be a much bigger concern than the snakes, per se. Snakes are clean and have a vital role in the ecosystem. Not that I'd want my house infested like that! I don't understand why they don't just hire someone to eradicate them. They're harmless garter snakes, and probably there are some teenagers not too far away who would enjoy rounding them up.

I'm not looking at that !!!

Thanks for the warning before I looked. My skin would be crawling, in fact, my skin is crawling just thinking about it.

I saw a show about this house on Animal planet. There is no way I could live for in a house infested with snake, even if they aren't poison ones!!!

It was unreal wathching the snakes slither across the yard.

i hate snakes too, but isn't there some pest control to get rid of them? Snake proof a home?

Oh my goodness, I would be outta there so fast. I live in the Arkansas Ozarks and a few years back the game and fish commission decided it would be a good idea to re-introduce rattle snakes to this area. So they drove up the mountin that I live on and started dropping out snakes. Then there would be a $500 fine for killing the snake. I just loaded my gun and told my hubby to get the check book. We rarely go outside without a snake gun on our hips. We have only seen two in the "Yard Area" over the last few years. But we see lots dead in the roads around, so I know they are here.
