Default Embroidery thread

I was wondering if anyone has used Hemmingworth Thread to embroider with. I think I used a spool or two a few years ago and liked the way it looked. I want to buy a box of this thread, somewhat expensive to buy all at once and do not want to find that I have problems with the way it sews. So does anyone have a favorite? Does anyone use this thread? Thanks!

I've never seen that brand. I love to use Sulky 12 weight cotton thread which also comes on a spool. I use pearl cotton, Valdani and D M C depending on my mood. The Sulky comes in petite spools and standard spools.
I do hand embroidery. It just dawned on me that you might be referring to machine embroidery. I don't have a clue about that.

It is nice thread to work with. I've never had breakage problems with it.

Thanks for all the info on Hemmingsworth thread. I've wondered about it but it's impossible to find close to me. I'll put it on my list to look for when I go up to the AQS Lancaster show next spring.

Yes I do machine quilting! I have been looking up this thread and I think I will order one of their sets, they come 32 to a set and I believe they have at least 6 or 8 different sets. The price per 32 is 139.00. A little steep but perhaps worth it. I have not seen it in my area so will have to buy on Internet. Thanks for all your input!
