Oh I love it - just wish I had an embroidery machine.

I did this one year, but wrapped it in tulle and tied it with a pretty ribbon, just to make sure they knew it wasn't to be used.

My first ? is why would you want to do that? The piece is pretty but then what? IMHO, I'm not to sure about this.
Maybe a hand towel. Now that is something I can wrap may hands around!
peace

I did it because it was something unique and I think my coworkers will get a kick out of it. I think I'll take MimiBug's idea and wrapped them in tulle, I will also put a "for display only" tag on them.

Me too.....well certainly a unique idea...guaranteed if I put this in the bathroom it would get used for sure....could probably create havoc with the septic. Thanks for sharing....

That is just the cutest thing in the world. Never would have thought it possible. My goodness. Who could use the paper and loose the overall look of thtat. I love it.

VickeyQUOTE=lalaland;5684658]I needed to come up with an idea for 15 gifts for new coworkers. I found a tutorial on how to embroider on toilet paper and decided to give it a try, using a design that could be stitched out in 3 colors or less. I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with the results! I stitched it out on my Bernina Bernette Deco 600.

The tutorial is here on Embroidery Library: http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/ELProje...oductid=PR1041[/QUOTE]

I also have done some of Toilet paper and most people thought it was Great!! I did take one roll to the quilting club I belong to so they could see it, well to my surprise a LOT of the ladies didn't say much at all as they still believe that toilet paper is still a very private thing. LOL!!

The design you chose is Great and fills the front really well.

A note to the ones that want to try this be sure to choose designs that are Not dense....outlines work Great!!
