Does anyone know if empty thread spools are recyclable?

They make cute dolls. I have seen booklets on crafts with spools. I would check with a daycare to see if they want them.

The plastic ones I give to my cats to play with. I gave the wooden ones to a friend's grandson to make things. As far as being used for thread again, I truly do not know.

I was recycling them until I called the local child development center. They said they'd take them in a minute. I had about 25 of them, put them in a sack and took them right over. They use them for crafts. So, you might check in your area.

I would imagine the plastic spools are recyclable.

I don't know if they're recyclable, they have to have a triangle with a number in it printed on them to be recyclable in my area.
However, in addition to crafts/children's crafts, I've also seen them used in fidget quilts too.
