I think you are fine! But please change out of your jammies when you go to the store!

I don't mean you personally....just speaking generally. I was watching Downton Abby (masterpiece theater) and looking at all the ways things were done...the place settings being perfect, dressing to dine, wearing a hat to out of the house, etc....we have swayed far from those days.

You know, there are times I wish for simple earlier times. Guess this put it in perfect perspective. Next time I'm sewing in my sweats and bunny slippers, I'll make sure to put on some lip gloss and pearls.

its not realy all that bad advice i know i feel better if the table is at least cleaned off and the floor is swept and my hair is combed i hate having poeple come over and find me looking like a mess. and no im not a neet freek i just cant stand to have my hair not combed it makes me grumpy and then i cant sew.

Oh, have the times have changed! Good for me, I can sit and sew beside a load of laundry without feeling guilty. Having worked for years, am now retired and figure things will get done when they get done. I think it has to be with my old age. Quite a change from when I took time off from work to clean the house while my now ex husband went fishing. He was smarter than me!

I seem to do the opposite.
I can't focus on doing dishes or housework when important quilt decisions/projects need to be made!!!
