Thank you for trying to give these goldfish a better environment. In my experience, they do grow to fit whatever space they are in, so it's really a challenge. I had two fantails in a 50 gallon tank that were huge, and I could not afford a larger aquarium - but I think if I had they would have gotten even larger.

I appreciate the consideration you give these 'silent' creatures.

Thank you to all who responded to my inquiry. I think my DH has been convinced to alter the feeding schedule of these dear creatures. Their names are Daphanie, Chloe and Ruby. They also thank you.

One of your fish looks like a lion head, goldfish will get quite big, so be prepared for a larger tank one day. They will eat all day long if you let them, make sure you have a good water filter. We had one that was around 10" long.
