2 years ago my brother took us to see the Moody Blues in Red Rock Ampitheater, Denver Colorado. It was unbelievable! He is one of my favorite brothers!

Lived in Germany in early 70's and saw alot of bands in concert Deep Purple, Stxy, Jethro Tull, Golden Earring and went to 2 3-day rock festivals. But my favorite was seeing the Moody Blues play at the Gorge Ampitheater in George, Washington. Beautiful music and great view and perfect sunset.

Wanabee Quiltin I totally agree with you. Bob Segar had me dancing in the row in front of my seat. I went to Elvis last concert in Indianapolis, and if I remember right that was his last concert period. Then I went to see John Cougar several times. Have been to every one of Alabamas concerts in Indy as well as the Farewell Concert. We missed a days vacation cause I had tickets to see Alabama. Randy was my dream back then (LOL). Another good concert was Hank Williams Jr.

I've only been to 3 concerts ZZ TOP at the Sports Arena- the crowd freaked me out so I watched it from the edge of the room with my boyfriends cousin the cop-Who knew cop's could dance : ) My second was Muddy Waters with a small seated crowd of 50 at the University -both of these were my 25th birthday. Then at 50 my DSH took me to see John Fogerty. I loved all 3. But my favorite was the last. Thats because it was on of the last out of the ordinary things we did before he passed away.

Hubby won tickets to Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Joe Crocker
2 years ago.

Come to find out if we had to purchase those tickets it would have
cost us $150 each seat.

GREAT concert! and it was my first at Red Rocks in Colorado.

best concert ever was The Moody Blues in 1972 in Frankfurt Germany. In the USA the best concert I enjoyed was Beautiful Day at the sports arena in San Diego ca. I lived close to there for things but that was my favorite there. Also Sonny and Cher was cool too. My friends and I always wished the Beatles would come there but they didn't and the Monkees but we never saw them there nieghter, to bad. The others were good but these still stand out the most for me. OOPS, I think I just gave my age away, LOL

I have two. In about 1993, my DH got tix to see the Moody Blues at the Fox in downtown Detroit----totally awesome!! Horrible weather, drove down there in an ice storm, which was worse when we got out, but the concert was one of my best memories. Tops, though, is when he got tickets to see Paul McCartney at the Palace in Auburn Hills!!! He called me at work while I was teaching when someone offered him the tickets the day of the concert---he didn't know if I would want to go?!!! I was so giddy the whole time & screamed like a teenager(along with all the other women!) Told him it was on my top 10 list of favorite moments!!!! Swoon!

Johnny Cash and June Carter were the best. They were delightful together. Saw them in the 60's in D.C. and in the 80's at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in CA.

Beach Boys back in the mid 80s, after their success with "Kokomo. Took my 15 year old son and he was shocked that I knew all the words to all their songs. He didn't know that they had been around since the 60s.
