Donna I am so sorry, but you have gotten me in gales of laughter with what you wrote. It must be the spring air......I just couldn't help myself. It started with Debbie talking about the lawn mower and by the time I got you your post......
     [/quote]

    Teehee.... Bad, aren't we?

Oh do I feel your pain! My husband goes TDY (Temporary Duty--Y, forgot what that stand for!). He just got back from being gone 3 months, and he would call 4 to 9 times a day. There were times that I would have to tell him that when I was done sewing I would call him back! LOL! He has been home for 3 weeks and has driven me nuts at times! He is leaving again for another 3 months on Monday. Sure will miss him, but, I can't wait! Then when he gets home from this one, he will be home for another couple of weeks, then gone for another 5 months. Next year he goes TDY for 18 months!!!!!!!! And no, I do not work outside of the house.

I lived with my DD for a time and now live with my brother . OH what I wouldn't give to be able to afford my own place. No hubby thank goodness. Mine wasn't all that great so I sure don't want to spend time with him if he retired. lol
My brother pretty much leaves me alone I have to say that. But just having a man in the house again. So different from living in an all girl place.
And yes the racing shows the car shows the motorcycle shows. Although to me that is sooooo much better than sports all the time.

Glad I'm not the only one that likes time alone. Fishing season starts this weekend here in PA----hooray! Also, the women in the family will be having a get-a-way weekend in the Poconos to give everyone a much appreciated break from routine.

Alone time is always great for quilt planning.

I love all the posts. Hubby used to do so much, hunting, fishing, staying in his shop all day and doing lots of woodwork, etc. Since his heart attack 4 years ago, he dose what he can but cannot tolerate the cold anymore or the heat.
Grannyp70 - I think Pop is gonna outsmart us all and be here forever. My DH has different issues and he's outlived all the times they gave him. Chin up. And not to be rude, but what would I do if hubby passed before me? Quilt retreats, quilt retreats and more visiting members. Life is good . Besides, I feel they are in a better place than we are. HUGS♥♥
