Is it a rule that if you quilt you must have a cat to hold it down while you sew? When the feline in question is over 20lbs it is not easy!

Yep! That's the rule. I always know when my quilt is a good one, because the boys won't leave it alone. So-so quilts, they sort of snub their whiskers at.

What a great cat! He's earning his keep by seeing to it that your quilt doesn't just fly out the window, or get stolen by gremlins.

Actually, it is a rule. It is also a rule that when the quilt is finished and folded on the couch, the quilt inspector has exclusive rights to laying on it.

It's good to have a 'cat-guard'. I have Chihuahua-guards! They love the quilts.
