I had pinapples growing in the house I had in Cape Coral FL and the pinapples that came off them were small but so sweet and were no acidity as the ones you buy but take 18 to 21 months to bloome just like the bromilieds they start a new plant after it's blooms

I just found out not too long ago that you can plant the top of the pineapple and it will grow a new fruit.

Here are a couple of mine going off right now. Sometimes you will get two babies off one mom. OOO Remember to water the middle everyday and feed once in a while.
