Default Finished moms table runner 15+ years old

My mom is the typical crafty, sewing junkie. She has tons of unfinished projects in her sewing room. The problem is she doesn't even go in that room anymore unless she's dumping a box of puzzles in the floor or closets. Its quite cluttered. Her sewing days are over. So when I find something I think I can finish I snag it up. This is the second finish I've done for her. One more big project after this. Embroidery and cross stitch was her thing. Any way just a small table runner this time. she had the cross stitch finished I just had to add lace and a backing so her jump stitches would show.

That is very pretty. I've been doing the same thing with my mom's unfinished projects. It is great to see them finished.

Beautiful work. I love the backing. I never thought of doing that but it's very pretty, serving 2 purposes.

Love it. I think that sounds like fun going through someone elses sewing treasures and picking something to finish up.
