I make them because I have the inner urge, they call to quilt is strong in each and every cell of my body. Some I just can't gift, they need to stay home. Most however, it not made for a specific purpose, like a wedding gift, or to hang on my wall, go to charity. It is important to me that any charity quilt is as gorgeous as I possibly can make it so I have no problem gifting the quilts to try a new technique or a special fabric or anything else.

I have 18 quilts I have made so far this year. Not one is being kept in my home. ALL 18 will be given to charities. People who have lived through the weather disasters of this past year can use a good warm quilt. Flooding was prolonged and profound and destroyed so many homes and the contents.
I challenge you to give up some of those quilts to help others. Isn't this a form of paying it forward?
