Miss Priss---Your recipe sounds awesome. I really want to try it when my cucs come in. Do you slice them thin or just normal---like 1/4 inch?

I'm seriously thinking the same thing... Just picked bunches of fresh lettuce, tomatoes raddishes, carrots and green peppers. It always sounds so good on a hot steamy day like today. I here more rain is on the way too!

Can hardly wait for tomatoes and cukes. Sweet corn might be a little "iffy" this year with the wierd weather.

I love fresh veggies in the summer and even better when you
grow them yourself.

Well, here it is already mid July and our tomato plants this year are still only about 8" high -Cucumber plants? about 4", sad sad sad. Peppers and radishes are producing but barely.

I slice them about quarter inch. You can do thinner, but they are too limp then.
