I saw a pattern for a seat cover for grocery store carts. I think that would be a good idea. I think it is Keepsake Quilting, but I am not sure.

Congratulations! There is nothing like a grandchild!

You could make her a soft stuffed toy. Obviously a quilt would also be a special gift.

Oh, and we love to see pics of grandbabies on here so don't be shy!

Inside there are patterns for the heirloom dress from size 3 months to 13 years. I've been making my granddaughters and now my great-granddaughters dresses using these patterns for 25 years now. I even made a wedding dress using designs from this book.
