Fleece dog tugs

I make chew/tug toys out of old blue jeans. Cut iff the leg a couple of inches above the kneeand tie a knot in the middle throw it in the washer and dryer so the knot gets tight. these have always been a favorite.

do you remember when we made the key fob things out of plastic,maybe back in the 60's or 70's? it had 4 strips of the plastic and they went over and under each other.then you pulled it tight, to make the knot..then you looped and folded it , over and under..usually a plastic bead or a wood bead was at the bottom or the start of it, with the clip..we made them in the summer when the schools had summer crafts outside.
That's exactly what I was going to post.

Where in Mich. are you from? I grew up in the Downriver area, exit 27 off I-75.
