In fact, it filled my livingroom, kitchen, dinningroom, hallway and daughter's room.

So...atm I have no flooring, furniture damage, 3 rooms dismantled, no sewing area and a lot of work ahead! Luckily my machines survived and most of my fabric and other quilting things but a lot of the other furniture is toast.

Needless to say my little quilt along will have to wait. I am posting from my nookcolor that Santa brought me. At least I can still keep up with all you!
My friend had a similar incident but with a water heater. It's been almost 2 months that she's been out of her home and only the dryout has been done. Hope you fare better!

Oh my goodness. The hardest part is the waiting...once it's all fixed and behind you life will be "normal" again. I'm sure your DD felt really bad, although it was nothing she was responsible for.

Thoughts are with you..

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I hope you get everything settled soon. When I can't sew, I try to do something else like reading or knitting. I need some sort of distraction from cleaning/cooking/homeschooling or I go a little nuts. Praying for you! Let us know how things work out!
